Top 7 low end Android games for your old Android phone 2022 - TNG Perks

Android gaming is pretty much popular these days. But what if you don't have a good android phone for gaming? In other words, you can't play PUBG or COD mobile in your android phone. So in this article, we'll be discussing the top 7 low-end android games available in Google Play Store. So, let's jump in.

(SI) Android gaming

What are the targeted phone specs?

When I say a low-end android device. What do I mean by that? I mean, there's a targeted phone spec where the game can run smoothly.

Targeted system specs are:

512 MB to 1GB of RAM

Single/dual core CPU

Any old GPU from 2013 to 15

Note: Some phones might have an older Android OS like 4.1 or 4.4. So, it's better to try the older versions of the games discussed below.

7) Dr. Driving 1/2

(IC) Softonic

Dr. Driving 2

Dr. Driving (both 1 and 2) is an amazing car (or you can say traffic simulation game) game franchise. Drive carefully and avoid obstacles like cars, footpath, walls, roadblocks etc. You can have a huge collection of cars in your garage. There are a lots of game modes waiting for you to enjoy a nice ride. In strait words, spin your ride's wheel, get cash, buy new cars (or repair your existing one) and complete the game.

 6) Sniper 3D

Sniper 3D

Sniper 3D can run smoothly on a 1 GB RAM phone. Snipe the target with a limited amount of bullet per round. Which can be upgraded later. There will be one or more than one targets to shoot until they escape. So, it's a great game for practicing your FPS gaming skills.

 5) Death Moto 4

Death Moto 4

I still play this one. It's a great game similar to 90s PC game Road Rash. Those who played Road Rash PC before, can guess what the game will feel to play. A number of enemies will attack you. Yes, enemy, not racers. The task of the player is to beat those enemies and reach to the finish line. Like Road Rash. The difference is that you race with your rivals in Road Rash and in Death Moto 4 you have to survive until the finish line. There are other obstacles like roadblocks, tornados enimey truck, NPC vehicles. And I hope it will amaze you all the way from level 1 to 15.

 4) Asphalt Nitro:

Asphalt Nitro

This is another great lightweight game for the older Android phones. Needs 1 GB of RAM. I'll be honest, the older version can run well on a single core CPU and 512 MB of RAM. But racing with real world cars is amazing! Cars from world class brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, RUF, W Motors etc. Graphics are not much impressive like Asphalt 8 but it's suitable for the low-end Android phones. Classical sprint, Lap, Elemanation are some great game modes. Cop chases are also available in this game where you have to be the cop and chase the criminals.

 3) Real Cricket GO:

Real Cricket GO

If you're a cricket fan. But don't get a good phone for playing WCC 3. Real Cricket GO is your best bet. Yeah, WCC lite is another good cricket game. But Real Cricket GO is better in my opinion. Commentry, tournaments, ball tracking, first person batting can bring the best cricket experience from your old android smartphone. Note though that there is no test match in this game. But it's still a pretty decent game to play. 512 MB of RAM and a single core CPU is enough to enjoy this game.

 2) CSR 1/2:

CSR Racing

CSR Racing 2

Boy, these two games are unbelievable! If you like drag racing, CSR racing (both 1 and 2) can be the best bet for you. Even you don't have a good phone. It's extremely optimized.

So your 512 MB RAM smartphone won't lag. Even CSR racing 1 got highly detailed reflections and visuals. It's storyline is pretty impressive and long. Select from numerous cars and see which car is your perfect CSR livery. Unfortunately, it's multiplayer is not available since 2018 because the devs needed some room for CSR 2. But you can still enjoy the offline campaign.

On the other hand, CSR 2 is another optimized title of CSR franchise. It can run smoothly on a 1 GB RAM phone with a good CPU (maybe quad). It got a multiplayer. And another advantage of this game is it's graphics. If you compare the details, any other mobile game can barely touch its level of details. Even though it doesn't require a high-end phone to run as I mentioned earlier. It's amazing that most modern mobile games which require 6 GB of RAM and a powerful CPU and a GPU to run, cannot stand a chance against this game in terms of graphics. But there's a catch, it's size. More than 3 GB download size. Your phone should have at least 4 GB of free space. But why CSR racing 2's size is so large?  It's because it's got a large collection of cars and tracks. Plus, it's intensive texture and shader details can hog a lot of your phones storage. (Not RAM)

1) Real Racing 3

Real racing 3

Real Racing 3 is another racing game and it can run smoothly on an old android phone. Having 1 to 2 GB of RAM and a good dual-core CPU can handle this game easily. But there are tons of events in this game. Lots of race modes are available here. From normal to drag race, you can find almost any race mode of your choice, including multiplayer. There are tons of real-world race tracks that most mobile racing sim don't have. About the cars? More than 200 cars including F1, Nascar, Super cars. In simple words, it's one of the best racing sim available in mobile platform. And top of that it's well optimized. So low-end Android phones with a newer OS can play this game smoothly. But if you got a older Android phone, you can try the older versions of this game. Even the older version can run on a 512 MB RAM phone with a single-core CPU. I've personally tested that game in an old Samsung GT Trend S7392 with a RAM of only 512 MB. It runs the older version of this game well(a few year old version of this game). You can find the older versions on the web. So, you can play this game's latest version in a little higher specs I mentioned earlier. Though, you have to keep the game up to date in order to play the multiplayer mode.

Final thoughts:

Do you want to download any of the game above? Or you didn't find your favorite game? Let me know in the comments. Yeah, I missed some of the low-end Android games. So, don't get mad on me. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.
