AMD Ryzen (I.C. AMD) |
Although Intel has some decent budget options, AMD has a lot of budget CPUs that offer 6 cores (looking at you core i3) and features like overclocking, PBO, PCIe Gen 4 (10th Gen CPUs are good but lack PCIe Gen 4) etc which Intel doesn't offer. So, here are 5 AMD CPUs that can gain those golden frames without breaking your bank.
5) AMD Ryzen 5 3600
The old legend still holds its relevance

The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is still a solid Zen 2 gaming chip for only 10,000 Taka. Though, it has started to show its age. But as far as pure gaming is concerned, pairing it with a powerful Graphics card like the RX 6600 or the RTX 3060 is a good idea. And those 6 Cores and 12 threads will make sure that your multi-threaded tasks will run smoothly.

4) AMD Ryzen 5 5600
The best AM4 midranger

This Zen 3 CPU still holds up well despite its age and a very low price tag of around 11,000 Taka. The core and thread counts are the same as the Ryzen 5 3600. But the Zen 3 architecture is the real spotlight of this CPU. Thanks to those 6 Zen 3 cores, the Ryzen 5600 can handle all the AAA titles with a decent frame number released to this date.

3) AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
The cheapest 8-core CPU to rock your gaming sessions
The Ryzen 7 5700X feels like a 8 core version of the Ryzen 5 5600X (or a tuned down version of the Ryzen 7 5800X, technically). This is the reason why the average FPS uplift isn't that kind of impressive compared to the Ryzen 5 5600X. So, why is it on the list? Because those extra two Zen 3 cores are really beneficial for those 1 and 0.1% FPS figures. Which are crucial for FPS games or for a smoother gaming experience. Also, if someone wants to do some game streaming or video editing beside gaming, this processor will be great for them.

2) AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
The cheapest ticket to enter in the world of AM5
While other countries are suffering from supply issues of this extremely budget friendly AM5 chip, Bangladeshi retailers have got plenty of Ryzen 5 7500F in stock. For around 17,000 taka, this CPU has proved itself a value king for the AM5 platform. Technically, this CPU is just a Ryzen 5 7600 but the iGPU is disabled. With 6 Zen 4 cores and 12 threads, this CPU can handle any AAA games with ease.

1) AMD Ryzen 5 7600
Just a 7500F with a crucial display backup
The Ryzen 5 7500F is cheaper because the iGPU of the die is disabled. But for the Ryzen 5 7600, it’s not. The Ryzen 5 7500F and the 7600 are basically the same in terms of CPU performance. But the extra tax you’re paying for the Ryzen 5 7600 will pay you off when it’s actually needed. Imagine the Graphics card is suffering from a driver issue, the display is glitching and the PC is unusable. In this situation, an iGPU is a lifesaver. That's why I always recommend a CPU with an iGPU over an CPU which lacks one. Unless, you're on a budget. And this is the main reason why I keep the Ryzen 5 7600 in the number one spot despite the fact that it's using the same die that the Ryzen 5 7500F uses.

Conclusion

While higher prices for graphics cards are getting the new normal (ahem… Nvidia ahem…), the CPU market is having a good time. I didn’t put any Ryzen 9000 CPUs in the list yet because they are not worth for gaming. But some future price drops may make them worthy for the next list. But these CPUs in the list will make a gaming session enjoyable for the next few years.
