Ultimate 1440p Gaming PC Build guide 2024 - TNG Perks

PC Building guide for 1440p gaming (especially for Bangladesh)

1440p computer
(I.C. Redd F) Computer

So, you better build a PC this time. Because, the prices of previous gen graphics cards are dropped significantly. And the newer gen graphics cards aren't that fast compared to it's predecessors. And the prices of the CPUs are dropped. Even you can get a 8 core Ryzen chip only for 20K BDT (200 USD approx.) brand new!

1440p Gaming PC can be expensive. Especially the GPU...

So, today we're going to be focusing on the 1440p build. And I will recommend seveal models instead of focusing on just one build. So, analyzing the market ( No 2nd hand. Only brand new), I found that gaming  graphics cards are selling quiet cheap.

Take for example, the AMD Radeon RX 6800 non-XT. It got a lots of VRAM. Great for 1440p gaming and can also handle 4K. (Just please, do not try to turn on the RT on 4K. Or else, you will have to experience some excellent FPS. Which will be almost identical to your old potato PC!) And it's Sapphire Nitro+ edition is selling for only 69900 BDT in Startech.

And there are other amazing deals, but let's see our recommended PC specs.

Recommended CPUs for 1440p gaming:

1) AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (8C/16T)

For the balance between budget and performance.

Get it from Startech (19800 BDT)

2) Intel Core i5 13500 (6+4C/16T)

A good choice for the team blue fans.

Get it from Startech (29500 BDT)

3) Intel Core i5 12600K (6+4C/16T)

Get it from Startech (29500 BDT)

4) AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (6C/12T)

Get it from Startech (22000 BDT)

There are other great CPUs for gaming. (like the Core i5 13600K or Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Ryzen 7 7700X) But the CPUs I mentioned above are going to be enough for a 1440p gaming PC.

Recommended GPUs for 1440 gaming:

Ideal GPU for 1440p gaming with a huge VRAM capacity.

Get the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X 12GB OC from Startech

Some words about other components

Well, as the prices are bit down for most of the components, you have a lot of choices for your computer memory (RAM), Motherboard, Case, PSU etc. depending on you CPU and Graphics card combination. But it's recommended to have a motherboard (and a CPU) with PCIe 5.0. This will be useful for future Graphics card upgrades. Even you can't afford the latest standards, buy at least a motherboard and a CPU which supports PCIe 4.0.

Because if you want to buy a RTX 30/40 or RX 6000/7000 series card, you need at least, a PCIe 4.0 slot for ensuring the highest performance. Sure, that doesn't mean that you can't use the latest gen cards in an older PCIe slot. But you have to sacrifice the bandwidth depending on how much PCIe lanes your next graphics card will be using.

Up next, RAM. For these days, 16 GB if RAM is enough for most games. But it will be changing soon to 32 GB. Even some of the demanding games of this date are requiring 32 GB of RAM if you want to play them in higher resolution. And here, we're talking about 1440p. So keep that in mind and make sure you're keeping enough money for some extra RAM. So, 32 Gigs of RAM is recommended for newer builds.

Final thoughts

Well, This hardware configuration may change depending on the price. But I think that it will be a fine build recommendation for 2023. Especially the graphics card market of Bangladesh is passing a unstable time. The shortage price is still haunting the older stocks whereas the new stocks are cheap. But the CPU market is a bit opposite. Maybe because of the demand of the newer gen CPUs.

So, to get most out of your money, keep an eye on the PC market.
